Lovin' this concept sports car from Audi, a sports car concept that is purely electric. This two-seater accelerates from 0 – 60 mph in 4.8 seconds, producing 230 kW (or 313 hp, but I love how it's measured in watts on their site). The lithium battery provides a content of 42.4 kilowatt hours that lasts approximately 248 kilometers or 154 miles. In other words, no long road trips, but to and from work would be fine.
The E-Tron has a truly beautiful interior. The dash looks like its floating and check out that side-view mirror, wow. Instead of the traditional instrument cluster, it features a large central display. It is surrounded by the two classic round dials. The display is controlled via a scroll pad with a touch-sensitive surface on the steering wheel – definitely inspired by all the new smartphones.
I love the car's wide stance and the clean subtle beauty of each swooping line. It's very simple and elegant with just the right amount of muscular attitude. The front reminds me of Zurg, just a little bit, but not that's a bad thing. Audi's new LED technology for the front facing headlights is in full force here; it recognizes weather conditions and adapts the illumination to rain or fog…awesome. The closed back is a very nice touch as well.
Another wonderful design by team Audi. They never fail to impress.
