Now this has attitude. I'm digging the latest effort from The Dead Weather. It's swampy, full of subtle freak-out flourishes; it just plain rocks. Jack White is heard from more on this album than the last outing, which is welcomed, but it's not to say that Alison Mosshart takes a back seat here–sounding more aggressive than ever. I love the raw feeling of the album and it gives you that nice swagger when you roll down the street. Full of confidence. Welcome back Mr. Cotter, welcome back.
