Every time I think I found my favorite font, I come across another one that I just can't live without. The new love would have to be the wonderful family of 718, by Terminal Design. The design for the face was inspired by all the "Outer Boroughs" of New York, with the name itself taken from the area code for all New York, minus Manhattan. The designers site English, Italian, Dutch influences among others, creating a perfect example of the city it comes from.

The family is a great sans, full of character. The family is robust, and features tons of great details in many of the forms (just look at that ampersand!) I absolutely cannot wait to get my hands on this one!
