I really love these historic Coca-Cola glass bottles–especially the original Hutchinson one. These vintage bottles are being reproduced to honor the soda’s 125th year anniversary. I also love the old Coca-Cola script used on the bottle and box packaging, penned by Frank Robinson, bookkeeper of original Coke founder Dr. John Pemberton. Up until 1905, the soft drink contained extracts of cocaine (Coca) and caffeine-rich kola nut (Cola). Hmmmm. Also, it wasn’t until 1916 that the iconic contoured bottle took over.
You can order a special limited edition box of the collection here and enjoy yourself a Coke.
