The rumors are true. Our beloved YouTube is getting a makeover, which will include a revamped homepage with new features to help you keep up on the latest activity of all your favorite channels.
Word on the street is YouTube won’t officially release this new design until end of November, but Google+ user, Moritz Tolxdorff, found a way to enable it early. Follow these simple steps to get your new and improved YouTube right this second!
Note: As of right now, the trick only seems to work in Firefox and Chrome browsers.
Step 1: Go to YouTube in either Firefox or Chrome.
Step 2: Hit the following keys depending on which browser you’re using.
Firefox
- Windows: Ctrl + Shift + K
- Mac: Cmd + Shift + K
Chrome
- Windows: Ctrl + Shift + J
- Mac: Cmd + Alt + J
Step 3: Add the following code to the console and press enter.
document.cookie=”VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE=ST1Ti53r4fU”;
Step 4: Close the console and refresh.
Step 5: Surf YouTube like never before.
