The power of social media never ceases to amaze me. Whether it’s asking a question, searching for an answer, or just simply sharing your thoughts, you can usually always find someone in the social sphere who is listening.
Earlier this week, we needed a German Translator. Not exactly something you can just pick up at the grocery store, so what did we do? We turned to our fans and followers. One Facebook post, one tweet, and less than an hour later, our need for a translator was quickly circulating the Web.
Take a look:
Although we ended up finding our translator from a different source, I want to point out that from one simple tweet, we got multiple RTs, a few DM’s and even a favorite, proving that social media is a huge (HUGE, I say!) resource just waiting for you to utilize.
Got a question? Ask it on Facebook. Read a good article? Post the link to Twitter. Need to blow off some steam? People love opinions on social media. Just ask RedheadWriting:
Bottom line: unless you’re posting consistently sad/depressing/emo/angry updates (in which case you need to see a therapist, not vent on Facebook), take advantage of the power of social media and join the conversation!
