First and foremost, my fiancée’s aunt, Kelley Lea is an amazing cook. It has been her goal for the last several years to finally put together all of her family’s and friend’s favorite recipes of hers into one collection.
Last fall, my fiancée Cassandra Lea and myself along with our friend Adam Ramseth helped her bring that together in the form of her first cookbook, “Kell’s Cozy Kitchen.” For several weekends we made our way over to her aunt and uncle’s home as Kelley created around five dishes each Saturday, which Cassandra was able to capture in stunning detail through some truly beautiful photography.
It was an awesome project to be a part of and all of us are extremely proud of the result!
We then went out one Sunday to the Capitol Hill Farmers Market and Pike Place where Adam took some great shots of Kelley walking around and interacting with some of the local produce sellers. Utilizing Cassandra’s and Adam’s great shots, I designed the layout for Kelley’s over 30 painstakingly-crafted recipes. After much anticipation, “Kell’s Cozy Kitchen” finally reached our family’s and some of her closest friend’s hands on Christmas Day.
It was an awesome project to be a part of and all of us are extremely proud of the result!
