Back in 2014 the Urban Influence team began working with Michael Kelly to produce a brand and associated online and in-store spaces in support of his own produce — the leafy green stuff, that is.
Kelly was dedicated to providing healthy, fresh luncheon solutions to Seattle’s downtown crowds, and he needed a brand that was enticing enough to make nutritious meals feel accessible.
We were first approached by Kelly with the request to craft a brand around a business plan — the name ‘Sprout’ had yet to be envisioned, and was part of the overall brand development project by the Urban Influence team.
Following the identification of a fitting name — Sprout — UI designers and strategists collaborated with Sprout’s founder to define the company’s differentiators and compose a brand strategy that appealed to both primary and secondary audiences, while conveying the inspiration behind Sprout.
Ten months, one striking word mark logo, a thoughtfully interactive website and a mass of minimalist graphic brand extensions for both the on-site and online spaces of Sprout, and the Urban Influence team was able to see the brand come to fruition.
